Ear Candling
Ear Candling is an ancient holistic form of removing excessive ear wax dating as far back as 3500 years ago in Egypt. Today it is done with ear cones which are pieces of wax coated linen wrapped in the form of a long thin cone approximately 12" long by 1" in diameter. The tip of the cone is placed just at the entrance to the ear canal and the opposite end is lit the fire causes a drawing action on the ear pulling the ear wax up in to the cone. The cone may have to be opened up several times during the session.
Ear candling is NOT for everyone if you have any damage to the eardrum, ear tubes, congenital hearing loss, ankylosis of the stapes, acute mastoiditis, or recent surgical procedures to the ears you should not do ear candling.
It is not recommended that you fly or get any kind of fluid in your ears for at least 24 hours after the session. While many people find ear candling effective everyone is different and we cannot guarantee that it will be for everyone.
Ear candling is not done to treat, diagnose, or cure any illness.
